The crown chakra is really beyond words, concepts and description. There is a quote that sums up this experience that states, “The mystery of the crown can not be explained, only experienced”. In traditional Tantric philosophy the crown chakra is simply depicted as the thousand-lotus petal. It has no seed sound, no element or other associations.

In awakening the crown chakra it is really a summation of our experience of all the other chakras. Our journey began at the base where we felt a stronger connection to our bodies and relationship to Mother Earth, in the sacral we explored our emotions and feelings, in the solar plexus chakra we encountered our personal power, in the heart chakra we united our masculine and feminine energies in a sacred union, the throat chakra allowed us to find our truthful expression and the third eye opened us up to higher powers of perception.
